An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy for a K-12 school setting in Indio, CA. This full-time contract position spans the current school year and focuses on providing direct and indirect therapy services to a moderate to severe caseload. Collaboration with onsite contracted paraprofessional facilitators is a key component of the role.
Key qualifications and requirements include:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
- Fingerprinting clearance through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (proof of Certificate of Clearance required)
- Availability to work full-time hours (40 hours per week)
- Experience in delivering teletherapy-based speech-language services within schools
- Ability to manage moderate to severe cases across an uncertain age range within the K-12 population
Responsibilities:
- Conduct both direct and indirect speech-language therapy sessions, utilizing teletherapy platforms as specified
- Collaborate effectively with paraprofessional facilitators to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with educational and legal standards
- Participate in ongoing communication with school personnel to monitor and adjust therapy plans
